Recently my catalytic converter was stolen, along with other piping from my exhaust system. Bill turned an extremely stressful unfortunate situation into a quick resolution & I'm very thankful. It can be daunting to go to a new mechanic, not knowing if you can trust them, but I felt extremely welcomed & calmed there. I'm happy to know I have a mechanic in the area I can rely on if anything else goes wrong. Highly recommend this business.

Joe and the fellas at Bills got my BMW in Wednesday when the clutch went and I had to have it towed to there facilities. They let me know as soon as it was there and safe in there hands. Joe walked me through each step of the process and got me the best value for my specific needs with my vehicle. Got my car back the next day and did not hold me up from missing work or any other important things we all have going on in our lives. For them to turn around a clutch job in a day when it showed up the afternoon before at a more than reasonable price. Couldn’t think of anything that was not brought to my attention so we could get the important stuff done to my car and preventative maintenance items that will save me money in the long run and also what we could hold off on as it is Christmas time and everyone knows money is tight around these times. Joe and the guys at Bills Automotive always go above and beyond expectations. They keep in touch throughout the hole process whether it be from something as easy as a oil change to a complete overhaul of engine or transmission. I could not recommend any other business higher than Bills, just a higher class of automotive repair facility than you could find anywhere near the Hartford area.

Excellent service, communication, and turnaround time! Their techs have an impressively high level of knowledge, that much is clear when you look at how exacting and methodical their work is. Bill's recently worked on my Subaru Legacy GT, a car which I cannot quite recommend buying, but still love very much. Their service writer, Andy, told me what I needed. Their technician Chris was happy to go more in depth for me, and not only took the time to illustrate WHY my car needed what it did, but explained the function of individual parts and assemblies (along with their interactions) in an extremely articulate and vivid manner. That dude is a born educator and is clearly passionate about what he does: that's the only kind of person I want to pull apart my motor. My cars have spent a lot of time in the shop, and in terms of the overall experience, Bill's has been the best by far. Bill's took the time to create a great business/customer relationship and it doesn't go unappreciated. Great work. (Also, sometimes, there are big fluffy dogs.)
